I would certainly recommend Portia Metras to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.  Our situation was different from most in what we were looking to buy – a short sale.  Portia took the challenge without flinching, while other agents would have recommended purchasing a normal sale to finish the sale quickly.  Also, during this process, Portia sold our existing home.  She did a fabulous job pricing and marketing our home and conducting open houses.  Soon, the offers started coming in.  Initially we got low offers, but we were not in a rush to sell and Portia didn’t push us to sell.  Soon thereafter, we received an offer above the asking price!  Once accepted, Portia helped us through the entire process, even when she was on vacation.  She never stopped working for us.  As we were going through escrow on our existing home, the bank finally accepted our offer on the short sale home, and suddenly we had concurrent escrows.  Portia helped us through it all.  Portia was always only a phone call away.  Portia is very personable and patient with her clients, while at the same time being tenacious for her clients.  A perfect combination!
